This small size hole punch is excellent for all sorts of decorative patterns. This five point star hole punch is great for creating amazing hole patterns in your leather. Use it for a single piece of leather or decorate the top layer of your multi-layer leatherwork. Great for pocket corners!
This hole punch is constructed of high-quality steel that has been carefully annealed to prevent it from becoming brittle.
Simply set the cutting edge of your shaped hole punch on the leather you want to punch and hit the top lightly with a soft head hammer until your hole is punched. To remove the hole punch from your leather, gently pull vertically, never rocking or twisting to prevent the edge from snapping. If you think you'll have trouble removing the hole punch, wax the cutting edge before you use it.
Please note that the silhouette in the photo represents the outline of the hole punch's blade, not the shape it will cut.
Dropping your hole punch or making significant contact with the cutting edge might cause the blade to bend, snap, or dull.
Please keep in mind that leather is a much softer material than card or paper, so while this punch may be able to cut through card or paper, it will likely dull or deform much more quickly than when used with leather, thus we cannot guarantee this tool when used for any application other than cutting leather.
