This Michihamono medium U gouge wood carving tool is ideal for cutting precise, circular grooves in the wood. The blade is forged from blue paper steel, the same material used in the manufacture of high-end traditional Japanese cutting tools, making this strong and resistant to wear. The smooth handle is embedded in Japanese Cypress wood and ergonomically built for comfort and control while in use.

This tool features a medium sweep that is good for carving channels without having the cutting edge edges trapped in the wood, and it is perfect for swiftly removing excess wood on a flat surface.

Our Return Policy:

Most items can be refunded provided you send your order back to us within 30 days of purchase and if the items returned to us are in an unopened, unused and original condition. Simply email us to confirm your item can be returned. If we approve your return, please return the item(s), with your invoice to our address in Japan, and write on your invoice that you'd like a refund, and the reason why. Once we recieve your approved return in an unused, unopened and original condition we will refund you the cost of the item as soon as possible.

We stand behind every product we sell, therefore, should you feel an item has been misrepresented, or is not in the condition as promised, please let us know and we will promptly replace the product, or return it to us for a full refund.

Please note, for all returns, the cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Duties and Taxes:
