This short bent U gouge from Michihamono of Japan has a smooth, long wooden handle made of Japanese cypress with an ergonomic design for a secure grip. The strong and durable blade, which is made of Blue Paper Steel, is securely embedded into the handle and will provide years of quality service. This tool is easy to sharpen and creates 3mm wide grooves in your wood.

This short bent gouge tool is used to add extra-fine details, such as hairlines, furs, or other small designs, to areas of wood that are inaccessible by straight gouges.
