This Japanese made Michihamono Skew Chisel 3mm Wood Carving Tool is designed to effortlessly carve away excess wood from your carving projects, and is particularly suited for woodblock prints. It features a high speed steel blade that ensures lasting sharpness and with an extreme hard cutting edge. The handle, made from sakura (Cherry Blossom) wood, offers a comfortable and firm grip in the palm for precise wood carving. This chisel boasts an extendable blade which can be adjusted by removing the ferrule to access additional blade length as required as the blade wears down from sharpening.

Perfect for detailed reliefs and fine sculptures, this 3mm skew chisel provides clean, precise cuts. The design facilitates easy blade adjustments to accommodate wear, extending the tool’s utility over time.

To use, simply hold the handle firmly in the palm with your thumb, forefinger, and middle finger grasping the ferrule. Tilt the blade slightly and apply light pressure to achieve smooth, exact cuts, ideal for detailed corners in woodblock prints or intricate carvings.
