Use this high-quality pricking iron from Oka of Japan to create clean and smooth diamond-shaped holes suitable for leather stitching. This leather stitch punch is constructed of quality tempered steel and each prong is honed, providing you with many years of excellent service. This tool's handle is knurled to provide comfort and better grip during use, and the size is engraved at the end for easily determining the right tool for your work.
With this 2 prong pricking iron, you can easily punch stitch holes on small spaces and rounded corners of your leatherwork. Use this along with other Oka pricking irons to create professional-looking stitches in your leather projects.
Size (space between tips of prongs):
- 5mm
Available prong numbers (each sold separately):
- 1-prongs
- 2-prongs
- 3-prongs
- 4-prongs
- 6-prongs

Please note the prongs are designed to snap, rather than bend, when overstressed to give ultimate hardness and prevent undetected bent prongs from ruining your leatherwork. Therefore, always use a soft headed hammer or mallet (never metal) and tap it into your leather work gently. When removing the prongs from your leather always pull it out of your leatherwork straight, never shift it side to side to loosen it or this could snap the prongs. It is recommended to lubricate your prongs with wax from time to time to allow for easier removal.
