This woodcarving skew chisel is great for carving on flat surfaces as well as corners and edges of your wood. This tool has a robust wooden handle that is ergonomically designed to fit in the user's hand and a durable and sharp blue paper steel (Aogami) blade, the same type of steel used in creating Japanese swords and high-end cutting tools. This tool is a fantastic addition to your woodcarving tools and will provide many years of service.
This skew chisel can carve corners and tight spaces on wood that a regular chisel or gouge cannot access. This tool can also be used to clean the edges of grooves left by a parting tool and to smooth out the wood's slightly curved surface.
