The skew chisel is best at work cleaning out and flattening the rough wood left behind in narrow corners of your reliefs or woodblock prints. This quality, heat treated professional Japanese wood carving tool will ensure quality results, great for accessing recesses and corners as well as tidying up rough surfaces.

Made from laminated, high carbon steel, the blade of this tool will cut through wood with ease, the mid sized 7.5mm blade is best suited to medium sized tasks, where as the large pine handle is suitable for a single hand carving or two hands when needed. The tang of this tool sits deep within the handle to ensure a long life.
