Stropping is essential when sharpening your blade, simply sharpening it with a whet stone or oil strong will make your blade sharp, but will leave thousands of microscopic jagged 'teeth' along your blade, this rough finish will quickly become worn down, leaving your blade dull after only a few uses. Stropping smooths down these jagged edges, ensuring your blade is consistently sharp and stays that way for longer.

To use this strop, simply apply an appropriate amount of jewellers rouge to the leather side you which to use you (the flesh side is recommended first) in a motion that perpendicular to the movement you used on your when stone several times. Repeat for the smoother grain leather side of the strop.

Our Return Policy:

Most items can be refunded provided you send your order back to us within 30 days of purchase and if the items returned to us are in an unopened, unused and original condition. Simply email us to confirm your item can be returned. If we approve your return, please return the item(s), with your invoice to our address in Japan, and write on your invoice that you'd like a refund, and the reason why. Once we recieve your approved return in an unused, unopened and original condition we will refund you the cost of the item as soon as possible.

We stand behind every product we sell, therefore, should you feel an item has been misrepresented, or is not in the condition as promised, please let us know and we will promptly replace the product, or return it to us for a full refund.

Please note, for all returns, the cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
