The long and sturdy blade of this Michihamono wood carving paring gouge is suitable for large-scale wood carving. This tool is an excellent addition to your woodworking tools and will last for many years due to its blade made of high-speed steel, a tool steel with a high level of hardness and wear resistance. This tool's handle is made of Japanese cypress and is designed to fit nicely in the hand, providing for improved carving control.

This wood carving tool has an internal bevel, great for making hollows or internal curves in wood. This tool can also be used for paring wood with greater control than traditional U gouges since it does not need to be used at an angle to obtain a smooth surface.

Our Return Policy:

Most items can be refunded provided you send your order back to us within 30 days of purchase and if the items returned to us are in an unopened, unused and original condition. Simply email us to confirm your item can be returned. If we approve your return, please return the item(s), with your invoice to our address in Japan, and write on your invoice that you'd like a refund, and the reason why. Once we recieve your approved return in an unused, unopened and original condition we will refund you the cost of the item as soon as possible.

We stand behind every product we sell, therefore, should you feel an item has been misrepresented, or is not in the condition as promised, please let us know and we will promptly replace the product, or return it to us for a full refund.

Please note, for all returns, the cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
