Designed for trimming the sharp corner, and to smooth edges of leather, this Ebony Edge Beveler No. 1 with a cutting width of 0.8mm is best used for thin leathers. The craftsmen from Oka test all their blades one by one to make sure each of them is sharp and ready to use.

Ideal for wallets, small cases, and other similar products that use thinner leather. The blade of this tool has durable coating to prevent rust. The handle is made from ebony wood which makes it durable and strong. Best used for leather with sizes 1.3mm (3oz) or less.

Approximate Dimensions & Product Data:

  • Handle (Ebony)
  • Ferrule (Machined brass)
  • Blade (Steel)
  • Blade Width: 0.8mm

To use this Edge Beveler, simply hold the handle firmly with one hand and the leather with the other to keep it from moving while beveling. Place the tool at the edge of the leather at about a 45 degree angle from the surface then run the tool along the edges, until the whole edge is shaved off, creating a bevel on the leather. Repeat the process on the other side of the leather to create a smooth and rounded edge. Take note: Applying different kinds of pressure can alter how much leather the tool will remove.

Please note: The blade edge is sharp, keep away from reach of children.
