This traditional Japanese funate hammer is a two-faced hammer that has a flat faced end and a slightly domed face end - is a must-have for crafts people.

The flat faced end is for initially driving nails in. Instead of the domed face end, this has a pointed tip to allow the hammer to set the head of the nail well below the surface of the surrounding wood so that it may be planed over or to fully seat a nail in a difficult to access area.

The hammer head is of very high grade steel and quality made in Japan.

Our Return Policy:

Most items can be refunded provided you send your order back to us within 30 days of purchase and if the items returned to us are in an unopened, unused and original condition. Simply email us to confirm your item can be returned. If we approve your return, please return the item(s), with your invoice to our address in Japan, and write on your invoice that you'd like a refund, and the reason why. Once we recieve your approved return in an unused, unopened and original condition we will refund you the cost of the item as soon as possible.

We stand behind every product we sell, therefore, should you feel an item has been misrepresented, or is not in the condition as promised, please let us know and we will promptly replace the product, or return it to us for a full refund.

Please note, for all returns, the cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Duties and Taxes:

Please note import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the price of our items. These additional costs vary depending on the destination country of the order and are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what, if any, these additional costs will be prior to making your purchase. These additional costs are usually comparable to the sales taxes and import duties you would pay for imported items in any bricks and mortar shop in your destination country. Some countries may have an import duty tax threshold, items with a value below this threshold may not be subject to tax, therefore staggering your purchases so they are shipped separately may reduce these additional costs. We do not offer any service that can pre-pay customs fees, as the cost of these services often far exceed the actual cost of additional fees charged.
